Hi and welcome , who are we and why this site ?

I met Rene a few years back and discovered we shared a common interest in sailing and in that our relationship developed , but as I am sure many will be able to relate  , we found that it has been quite difficult to maintain relationships with family, friends and colleagues with ones lives being so busy and life generally being a rush a proverbial rat race.

This feeling of missing out on time spent with the ones we miss because life rushes us by has inspired me to create this site not only to reconnect and stay in touch but also to develop new friendships and experiences and develop those , who knows where this may lead , but now at least we journey together.

I often wondered with all this fancy tech , apps and so on its just made life faster but I don't know if its necessarily better.

One thing however lets take cellphones for example , prime example , todays mobile phones are fantastic nearly everyone has one and most have cameras that take amazing pictures ,so we snap away and then , what? 

When do we look at those pictures again and who do we share them with or do we even get the time to share those pis . Anyway where am I going with this , well tech is about connecting so that's what we are hoping to achieve by creating this site and we are excited to share our experiences with all that are interested , we look forward to hearing from you .
